Power of words!

Today I was at the dentist's office in the waiting room. A mother in front of me was trying to get her son (I guess he was about 3) to talked to his father on the phone. He took the phone and said a few words and was off to play with the toys. As the child started to walk away, the mom spoke into the phone as stated that he was being a 'butt.' I could help but shake my head. He wasn't being a 'butt'!!! He was being a child!! If she would say that in public, I wonder was she says to him at home.

Turning life's lemons into lemonade and throwing the rotten lemons in the garbage disposal to freshen the kitchen. Take that!

As I travel through the journey that is called life, I realize that it's all about weaving through the crap.  The crap never stops coming.  It is just in how you handle it.  Which direction will I go?  Will I follow or will I push through and make my own path.

Wow!  Deep man...  As a mother of three, I try to grab the hands of my little ones and lead them through the crap until they are ready to handle it on their own.  All I can hope is that I taught them well.

Update:  The house has been moved into.  Very little boxes are left.  Nothing is put on the walls.  I don't wanna jinx anything by putting stuff on the walls.  Yes, that is correct.  I have been come superstitious in my old age.

It seems that the seashore theme is going to be popping up! I have invested in this year's Spring fashion.  I have also purchased a beautiful long white flowing skirt to go with this beautiful necklace.  A cute cami and maybe a scarf tied aroung the waist and knotted at the side would pull it together.  And there are shoes to think about.  Hmmmm.

I just love how I have to purchase clothes to go with my accessories!
